Delete my account

Courtesy translation. The French version is the only legally binding one.

You can delete your Wiki-Go account at any time, from the game or by email, without needing the app. Deletion is permanent: your cards, your Wikibucks and your progress are lost.

From the game

  1. Sign in on wiki-go.com or in the Wiki-Go app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. At the bottom of the page, under Delete my account, tap Delete.
  4. Type your username to confirm, then tap Yes, delete.

The account is deleted immediately.

Without the app, by email

Write to contact@wiki-go.com from your account’s email address, with the subject “Account deletion” and your username. We check that the request comes from the account holder, delete the account within one month at most, and confirm the deletion by email.

What is deleted

  • your profile: username, photo, birth year, email address and sign-in methods;
  • your collection, albums, showcase, wishlist, Wikibucks, progress and quests;
  • the content of your chat and private messages (other players keep their conversation, with no link to you), your friends, your blocks and your place in a clan;
  • your support requests and their conversations;
  • the log of places you collected in GO mode and the boosters placed for you;
  • your Pro subscription, cancelled, and your customer record at our payment provider.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Accounting records (payments, purchases, subscriptions), with no link to your profile: 10 years, as required by French law (article L123-22 of the Commercial Code).
  • Security, anti-cheating and anti-abuse data (for example a reviewed alert or a sanction): one year at most.
  • Technical logs: 30 days.
  • Past trades and auctions with other players: they stay in those players’ history, under an anonymous name (“joueur-supprime-…”), with no link to you.
  • Database backups: 90 days at most, then they are erased.

Delete part of your data without deleting your account

In the game, you can at any time:

  • delete your chat and private messages;
  • delete your albums and recycle cards;
  • leave your clan;
  • turn off GO mode or remove location access in your phone’s settings.

To erase other data (for example your profile photo, the log of collected places or a support conversation), or to get a copy of your data, write to contact@wiki-go.com from your account’s email address and say what you want deleted. We answer within one month at most.
